Business Development Associate

 We're looking for a highly motivated and nimble Business Development Associate to join our team in Los Angeles!  Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer you'll work closely with Channel Growth, Sales Enablement, Solutions and Product teams in a high-impact role team to forge deep relationships with existing clients and help establish relationships to further strengthen the Talespin brand. You'll work with enterprise clients across Professional Services, Insurance, Telecomm, Airline & Travel, Retail, and Life Sciences industries.  A successful candidate will assist with the analysis, outreach, and management of partnerships across all verticals, supporting analysis of potential partnership deals, tracking the progress of all partnerships and communicating pipeline activities to the rest of the organization.

In this key role you will:

  • Spearhead the administrative day-to-day support for Talespin business development and account management team as a frontline communicator while always looking for ways to further deepen our partnership relationships
  • Evaluate incoming opportunities and analyze to prioritize them against business goals and objectives
  • Manage business development projects involving complex work streams and cross-functional collaboration (internally and externally) liaising between internal teams and Talespin partners
  • Manage partnership campaigns including contributing to marketing asset creation and delivery, and cross-team communication for launches and key milestones
  • Assist in partner pipeline development and maintenance, monitoring new accounts brought in through partner channels
  • Troubleshoot and provide white glove issue resolution to pressing requests for key global enterprise clients and partners
  • Assist in managing and negotiating partner contracts and SOWs
  • Remain informed and apprised of industry trends, who’s new, who’s doing what
  • Execute detailed market research, creating compelling presentations, and perform accurate and insightful analyses

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities we’re Looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in an account coordinator, business development, marketing or B2B role, preferably with startup and/or enterprise experience
  • You’re detail-oriented, review your work twice and are an outstanding multi-tasker
  • You are a natural networker and relationship builder
  • You have a results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
  • Strong relationship management and project management skills
  • Natural ambassador and spokesperson for Talespin and believe in our mission
  • Natural self-starter. Your roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
