3D Technical Artist

We are looking for highly motivated and creative individuals to join us in our mission to transform how humans learn, work and play.


 In this role you will:

  • Visualize, gather reference, and work collaboratively to create and deliver high-quality and photorealistic 3D models/environments
  • Optimize and implement art assets into Unity for interactive, immersive environments
  • Develop research to deliver competitive, cutting edge assets
  • Create and recommend tools and workflows to improve efficiency and fidelity
  • Provide assistance to artists on best practices, procedures, and techniques
  • Collaborate with an international team of artists and game developers to deliver first-to market immersive products and training solutions for enterprise

Skills and abilities we are looking for:

  • Experience shipping games or products in Unity
  • Working knowledge of industry standard 3D/2D content creation tools (Maya, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer)
  • Expertise in pipelines for realistic rendering using PBR materials, texturing, and shader creation
  • Practical experience combining lighting (baked & realtime), reflections, post-processing FX, and emerging rendering techniques to make scenes visually compelling
  • Understanding of what is required for getting the best visual fidelity on performance challenged platforms such as VR and mobile.
  • A motivated self-starter willing to work proactively to discover bottlenecks to be eliminated
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

One or more of these is a plus:

  • Experience with VR/AR/MR
  • Familiarity with character animation and tools for asset importing, rigging, animation blending, and rag-doll style physics
  • Familiar with versioning management systems (Perforce, Git, etc.) and game engine collaboration best-practices (prefabs, asset naming, organized directory hierarchies, etc.)
  • Experience with Unity techniques such as the HDRP/LDRP render pipeline and the shader graph
