Prepare. Support. Lead.

The impact of COVID-19 on the economy and workplace has put many business leaders and managers in the most challenging situation of their careers, and placed an even greater emphasis on the leadership and communication skills required to guide their teams through disruption. Ensuring organizations are able to use a people-first approach to leadership, adapting to the new normal, and communicating effectively in the COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 world is critical, but there are limited frameworks given that this is an entirely novel crisis.

Immersive Learning for the Moments That Matter Most:

Since its launch in 2019, our CoPilot soft skills training platform has proven that teaching soft skills in virtual reality delivers significantly improved learning results in comparison to other learning modalities. The platform simulates conversational role play with virtual humans, accelerating learning for critical communication skills, making learners more confident in subject matter, and increasing knowledge retention. Unprecedented challenges like the one we now collectively face calls for a new approach that helps people learn rapidly and hone the skills needed to lead compassionately through accelerating change.

‘Leading Through Uncertainty’ is a series of VR learning modules that leverage this powerful technology to help leaders prepare for times of crisis and uncertainty. The training scenarios utilize Talespin’s CoPilot platform to enable leaders to practice key communication skills like active listening, understanding and empathizing with employees, de-escalation, succinct communication, and self-awareness. The training series tasks users with applying these leadership skills to common scenarios that may arise from a global health crisis’ effect on the morale, wellbeing, and finances of organizations around the world.
